This is a very well done toddler Bible. The stories are clear and concise, they really cut to the heart of the story and kept them short enough to hold the attention of a two year old. Our almost two year old loves the pictures and the stories. Some interesting features include an activity at the end of most of the stories for the parent to do with the child to really help them understand the lesson in the story. Also it gives the bible reference for the story. They had some of the great stories in there, Creation and even Adam and Eve's fall, they skipped Abraham and Hagar however, and I thought that was appropriate. The pictures were very colorful, designed to hold a toddlers eye. Lots of things to point at and name. The language was simple enough for a child to understand without being dumbed down.
This bible included an hour long dvd that covers most of the stories in the book. I wasn't impressed and my toddler lost interest fairly quickly. It was mostly a narrative with poorly animated copies of the illustrations in the book. The upside is that it used the same illustrations so it was recognizable.
And totally unrelated to the book itself my son understands that this is a Bible and even calls is a Bible.
